I rather have a normal warm summer than a super hot summer.. it gets to the point where it's super hot and you can't go outside and anything. 23 to 26c Is perfect but once you reach anything over 30 I know longer find it fun. Only so little clothes you can wear lol at least when it's Cold you can wear layers.

I'm getting insane outflow winds. YXX is now reporting winds NE 53 gusting to 82 km/h. My dew point is -11C, so very dry.

Wind warning in effect for:

Fraser Valley - central including Chilliwack
Fraser Valley - west including Abbotsford
Strong northeast outflow winds gusting to 90 km/h have developed over the Fraser Valley this evening as arctic air from the BC interior pushes out to the coast.

These strong outflow winds will continue tonight and will ease below warning criteria near noon Saturday, but winds will remain blustery.

Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.

Same idea as trusting the integrity of your government during this Corona outbreak this is absolutely insane what this all morphed into it should have never got this far.

No power problems here though. For some reason, NE outflow winds rarely cause widespread power outages. Do you know why?

Arctic air in mid March is absolutely insane radar returns looks like precip over Victoria. It would have been kool to have seen some snowflakes just to put an awesome spin on this late season mini blast.

Even in Sardis Jr. It's flickered in the past but hasn't gone out since we moved here. It has due to a power pole down due to accident but that's it. BTW gas is 115.9c out here in South Sardis.

Fortunately for us on the coast there's no such thing as a super hot summer or just plain hot for that matter. To me super hot would be 35+ , and just plain hot 30+. I haven't crunched the numbers and just going by memory, we probably only get 2-5 days per year of 30+ temps. Some summers we don't get any in the 30's. I don't mind temps in the mid to upper 20's , the term Don't sweat it would apply to me both literally and figuratively, I know there's some members here who detest anything above 21° . :silent: :problem:

Yes, this is a type of pattern we normally see during the November-January period, and sometimes in February. But in March? Its very rare.

By the way, I'm still loving the station you sold me. :D

You valley guys probably need the AC as you would get a lot more 30+ days.

I've already had 3 colds this winter so hopefully no more for me.
