Pennask Summit sitting with 15cm of snow on the ground. Completely winter like on driveBC this morning. Impressive for May 19 :flakey: :flakey:

And here it is..December 2024 all snow geeks have been waiting for :silent: ..with the LR weather "charts" calling for a cold and snowy month. Where's the troffing? :silent: :silent:

All good though! I like everyone on here :)
The trolling and the "LOLZZZ!!!" style posts are actually the bigger problem, but I think you know that.

So none of the mods care to mention it? Kells gets told to keep it in the climate change thread, yet John is allowed to troll to trigger people? The fact that there is legitimate bias on this forum is ridiculous. If everyone isn't going to be held to the same standard, then stop policing certain people and allow everyone to say what they want. After all, we are adults, correct?
Because, as I said last year, the longer the bias is shown, the more people will stop coming to this forum.

Don't bother. He's been doing this for years and then plays the same "I don't know what you mean" card as a couple of other members who get away with whatever they want. He won't change because his actions have no consequences. Don't blame him, because who would? Gaslighting 24/7.

Where did HE specifically get told to keep it in that thread?

John's post wasn't great, as a "lol" doesn't really add much value to the discussion other than trying to derail. However, if a silly "lol" is going to get under your skin, perhaps the ignore feature of the forum is for you. Weather 101, 90% of your posts in this thread are either complaining about Hawk, John or about weather in Ontario/Toronto. I would say they add as much value as John's "lol." And, for what it's worth, other than you and one other poster, there haven't been any complaints about John. If people are being bothered by his posts, use the report feature and we can address them if needed.

Stuffy and Hound are the admins, and if they feel differently, they can address it or ask the mods to be more active.

My two cents. Go Oilers!

""LOL, 90 percent? That's a complete lie. I post about Toronto when I'm in Toronto for work and when the weather is boring here.
Because:
1. I haven't mentioned Hawk in months, so that's another lie.
2. All Hawk brings up is the Silkameens, so if you want to play devil's advocate, then that makes no sense whatsoever.
3. My posts in the last month have literally been about random weather events OUTSIDE of Ontario. I even posted a northern lights photo so...

So try again next time."

Screw the Oilers!!

It may not be popular with any but that one other person ;) but I'm happy to see all that rain in the forecast. Hoping it's not the disappearing type.

When discussions get out of hand, that's when I move posts. Some people (admins or mod) move the posts when I don't. You are continuing to derail the thread by complaining in here. You can report posts which you almost never do. If you have a problem with a post, report the post, don't just start replying to posts and further derailing the thread by complaining about how someone is just trying to troll or get reactions.

All I did was reply to Bono because he made accusations that weren't true. I'm not going to report that because he's not coming from a bad place whatsoever; he just has his information wrong, and I have every right to reply to that. Plain and simple.
