I was very surprised but the air quality all along the Crowsnest is pretty much fine, besides the area between Princeton and Manning Park.

Even Osoyoos wasn't too bad. Drove through an awesome torrential thunderstorm near Yahk this morning.

The airport is based on onshore flows. Further inland, it was one of the hottest ever. Only 1906 and 1998 was hotter in Kamloops. Not sure about Vernon, but 1906 was cooler than this past month.

Nice just in time for the first frost there abouts in the Kootenays.
Yout sig should change to there's more snowy day's in the Kootenays than the Similkameen.

That's surprising. Was fairly bad when I traveled along the route last Friday thru Sunday. I suppose the recent system ejected lots of smoke out of the valleys in the similkameen, boundary, and kootenays.

Yeah it was pretty bad on my drive out on Sunday. I was very surprised today.

The GEM was nice enough to give us much needed moisture but will not relent on the heat wave next week.
