Looks like the only way to tank is if Petterson doesn't dress. Like I said the other day , Miller and Horvat were invisible without Petterson in lineup, gotta try to trade them before it's too late.

Glad I made this post. Hughes with a beauty last night and Boeser follows with a snipe. If those two can continue who knows, maybe we have a chance at sneaking in the playoffs and getting Aqua his two home playoff dates $$$

Of course that would require keeping Horvat and losing him for nothing in free agency but what else would the Canucks do? Cash in on an inflated asset? LOL

Yeah not sure,maybe in the 90's. NHL had a good spike in scoring last year as there were eight 100pt players,with jt Miller falling short by 1 pt. Maybe there's a shot this year at getting ten players with 100 pts, but cracking 50 goals will still be a challenge. McDavid on pace for roughly 150 pts and oddly enough is currently leading in goals as well. And how about Teemu Selanne in the early 90's when as a rookie he scored 76 goals and had the same for assists for 152 pts! And then at the turn of the century scoring seemed to have fallen off a cliff , crazy, blame it on Y2K
