Here are the 6 hottest weather stations in BC (in summer). Why is Penticton warmer than Osoyoos in December and January, you ask? Well, because of some moderation by the lakes on either side of Penticton (Okanagan and Skaha).

Spences Bridge used to have a station, way back in the day. Hottest month on record in Canada.

Mr. Goose you have some pull can you help Glace? There's an inn @ Spences Bridge.? I've never stopped there even for Fruit 🍓 🍑 just too hot and dusty at the time plus the hills have eyes 👀 there. :o

Actually, I was the one who came up with the idea to install a Davis VP2 in Spences Bridge and I contacted Glacier to help me find a space there. That’s the first step. Then: crowdfunding. Any help is welcome.

Here are some interesting graphs...
hotspotinterioravghourly.png
warmestspots.png
Now, I don't see Spences Bridge having a higher annual temperature and certainly not a higher winter temperature than Osoyoos. But possibly in some summer months.

I'd say the average could be anywhere between 23.7 and 24.4. Yes, I'll so some contacting with respect to this. Thanks Goose for the idea!

That's horrible Glace global warming right there.
We definitely need a station in there,
Perhaps Boston Bar or Yale eventually.

At least Boston Bar and Yale have provincial stations (highways). And it gets cooler heading south of Lytton (in the summer), so not as interesting as Spences Bridge which is definitely hotter than Lytton.

Notice how UBCO and the Kelowna airport are so much different when they're only a km apart. UBCO is higher up so is warmer because cold air sinks down into the airport frost hollow.

That's right the good old inaccurate Drive BC weather stations that are so poorly located and maintained by the provincial government highways department.

Here is another way of viewing the winter data. 135 years of data divided into 9 year increments. At one time time December was the warmest winter month. Now it's the coldest. January was coldest, and now it's the warmest...
