0.6C here with some light wet snow. Just a slushy trace on the ground. Precip was pretty light here today.
North end of Shawnigan Lake. Southern Vancouver island. 500ft

That would be awesome.

I’ve noticed some construction going on around here on the hillsides south of Shawnigan Lake. Probably some homes are upwards of 1500ft. I’d like to live up there someday, some of the views are amazing. Snowfall would be more than here but not dramatically. I would bet 1500ft in the lower mainland is a lot snowier than 1500ft here.

We bought it for our kids, eventually going to SFU, also my older girl swim at SFU.

Just as precip is a about to end lol

The last few weeks have delivered multiple 1-5cm snowfalls. Either too dry or a touch mild. I think the biggest event dropped 15cm.

For me too. Starting to switch and the temperature is dropping, now down to 2.0c
Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!

This place is likely well over 1000ft elevation. Out of my price range but hard to beat that view.
