Meh, I'm not affected by southeast winds. But if it turns to south or southwest, I'm screwed.

Re: January 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Incompetent forecasters and forecasting. All of EC must have been off for the week and the computer spit out the forecast. Or there are some very silly people there. Whatever the case the forecast should not change that severe so quick in a 12 or 8 hour timespan.Roberts Creeker wrote: ↑Sat Jan 01, 2022 9:33 am How can we go from below freezing with snow to above and rain for all 7 days in less than 12 hours?

Yeah , EC has also removed my storm watch warning and replaced it with a wind warning, that sucks , not even an overrunning event.
This is the bigger issue. Even if things warm up or it has to rain. Give us the usual damn over running event so we at least get to experience a heavy snowfall. This slow warm up crap is just BS. Anus in full attack mode.

Re: January 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Overrunning events like those we saw in the past no longer happen.
Now it's all about the gradual moderation aloft with pre-frontal southerly flow at the surface which are effective enough to scour out all the cold air at the surface.

Re: January 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Good point. When even was our last legit (i.e. 10cm+) overrunning event after an arctic blast? February 2018? And before that ... late Feb 2011?wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 01, 2022 1:20 pm Overrunning events like those we saw in the past no longer happen.
