Re: October 2021 Forecasts and Discussion
Birches on (American) Sumas Mountain are just starting to turn. Camped up there last night. Give those trees a week and I bet a lot more will be colorful as it was COLD up there. Glad I had my little catalytic heater with me.
In the moving north department, my provincial nomination came through yesterday. Next steps are applying with the federal government for a work permit (which given the nomination should get easy approval), then comes the apartment hunting. Will probably rent something in the city of Vancouver, though the elevation aspect does still make being Pomoman’s neighbor tempting.

Re: October 2021 Forecasts and Discussion
Hey Blackberry man. I would say if you don't mind the commute move to the Metrotown area in a section that is in the snow belt. Someone that lives near there can probably tell you the best spots there. The SkyTrain is in that area and it's a fairly quick commute to downtown if that's where you will be working. Plus, if it's snowing out you can walk in the snow and enjoy it
And here it is..December 2024 all snow geeks have been waiting for ..with the LR weather "charts" calling for a cold and snowy month. Where's the troffing?

Re: October 2021 Forecasts and Discussion
Gorgeous. I love the fall colours so unlike our coastal fall where they turn yellow green then fall off. Well into October and the trees still all have their leaves, though they are starting to yellow.Cloverdale wrote: ↑Fri Oct 08, 2021 11:04 pm Zoa Peak 2 weeks ago. Went from a warm fall to snow quick.

I was in Costco yesterday and saw all their Christmas stuff out already. Soon it's going to be the 12 months of Christmas.
