Goldobin-petterson-boeser
Baertshi-horvat-leivo
Pearson-gaudette-virtanen
Roussel-beagle-motte
Mccewan/granlund/spoons

That's not a terrible forward group if healthy. Markstrom/demko is solid. Let's pick up a top rated dean, aka Bowen byram. Sign a good ufa on d, maybe a Myers to play with Hughes.

Hutton -tanev
Elder(2 years?) stretcher
Hughes-myers
Biega/juolevi

Problem is we have crap depth. Benning has not had enough draft picks and it shows. Trade Sutter for a 3rd, retain salary if necessary. Also apparently panarin included van city on his list of tradable teams FWIW.

Beagles, spoons, motte's juice, elders, and stretchers are all necessary for a well run old age home. :P
Hopefully Benning can get more than a 3rd for Sutter , Panarin would look great with Pettersson and Erik Karlsson would look good too obviously but at what price. This would definitely speed up the rebuild process as long as they don't end up like Eriksson. They still need scoring depth up front to compete in the playoffs whether through the draft or ufa's.

Yes saw that on global news , I also remember seeing it on the news 10-15 years ago but maybe it's finally taking off in popularity. So do you actually participate? The idea of having to hold my breath under water doesn't thrill me too much.

Yes, I've been playing for 6 years, but I'm a free diver since I can swim... More than 30 years ago.

I must say I enjoyed Q. Hughes first game he seemed to acquit himself well and his first assist was a thing of beauty, the overtime shift with Petey, Boeser and Hughes was absolutely awesome! the future does look bright, and if Luke Schenn continues play like that give him another look next season. Knucks win 3-2 in a shootout to the Kings. Also didn't realize Edler was that close to Mattias Ohlunds record for points by a Knucks defence men. :o

I’m an Oilers fan, so it’s been a decade of pain for me. Peter Chiarelli has completely mismanaged this team. The trade that hurts the most is the 1st round pick to the Islanders for Griffin Reinhart, a defensemen that was always really poised to be no better than a 5 or 6 on a decent team. The Islanders then used that pick to draft Barzal. Ugh. Thankfully, there are a couple of bright spots on the team and having Evan Bouchard developing in the OHL is promising.

And all they have is Gagne and some guy named Larsson to show for the Hall and Eberle trades. Oilers are extremely fortunate that the NHL allowed all those 1st overall draft picks within a short period of time thus they fluked out with Mcdavid and then were able to land Draisaitl with another high pick , meanwhile canucks have finished near the bottom for the last few years but get penalized because some team well ahead of them wins the lottery and then can't pick any higher than 5th, not a fair system. I can't stand the oilers....unless I have some oilers in my hockey pool,

Fair enough. I don’t care for the Canucks personally. I don’t hate the team though. The only 2 teams I hate in the league are the Leafs and Habs.

Safe to presume you're from Alberta? My brother n law lived and worked in Edmonton for over 30 years, they finally moved back here 3 years ago but he still roots for the oilers so we're constantly teasing each other regarding our teams. We've got a double double white spot burger meal for 4 people riding on this season with 3 games to go , I've got a slim1 point lead .
