6:42 PM PDT Saturday 2 November 2024

Special Weather Statement in effect for:
Fraser Valley - central including Chilliwack
Strong winds and heavy rain are likely.

Where: Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley

When: Overnight Sunday and Monday.

Hazards and Impacts:

- Watch for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts
- Clear storm drains of leaves and debris
- High winds may cause tree branches to break and lead to power outages

Remarks:

A potent storm system is forecast to impact the south coast beginning overnight on Sunday.

A relatively short but intense episode of rain is expected to begin shortly after midnight Sunday. Peak rainfall intensities are expected on Monday morning with rain easing by midday Monday.

Early indications call for 40 to 70 mm of rain along the north shore of Metro Vancouver.

Parts of Metro Vancouver will also experience strong southeasterly winds throughout the day on Monday and strong west to northwest winds Monday afternoon. These strong westerly winds will also spread up the Fraser Valley.

Thanks BC T,  there it is, also for the Island...but not, so far, for the Sunshine Coast. That's ok, I have eggs in the incubator and am happy to sit this one out. Storm season can commence in 2 weeks.

So far not bad Stuffed boss l guess having a good rest this weekend kinda helped will see if it hits me during the week. Kinda sucks the early sunsets now man this year has flown by. I'm hoping the Cannuts can turn it up a notch l'm not impressed with this year's team the loss of Dumpko doesn't help but Lanky is holding the fort and Sivs has lost his game :wtf: the new signings are hit and miss, last years team had early chemistry and Petey sucks so far.
