Those were some pretty crooked numbers being shown on the euro wind maps for tomorrow night. Hasn’t been much talk of it but it could be a decent storm

Edit. You forgot slowly moderating temperatures and we come out of the “cold spell” with little to no snow.
Oh yeah! Gradual moderation of the airmass. 850mb temps warm to +9 before the system arrives. EC calls for "chance of flurries or showers" for some reason when we all know its going to be straight rain.

John wrote: Mon Jan 11, 2021 9:20 pm Lol whatever works for you this not going to be anything great there has not been one semi epic gfs run yet so this will water down into a cool low snow level episode maybe something big mid February?
So unless there is a semi epic GFS run the event will not be epic? What about the GFS runs showing -15 and -20C in Abbotsford last year? :?

Not to mention, the region wide snowstorms and reload of arctic air the GFS kept showing consistently. Didn't even come close to verifying.

Haha, one mediocre Op run and people are pulling out the forks!

The GEFS is still similar to it's previous runs.

That ridge is a notch closer to the Coast.

It's over. Just like the Oilers chances of doing anything remotely positive this season.

If this keeps up we my see systems sliding down the coast giving multiple snowfalls, and at least one blizzard like situation is shaping up as a possibility. I hope the future runs remain consistent!

Snowy systems will ride down the coast most likely:

This will all lead to at least 1 major:

This is exactly what we have been dreaming for. Everybody will be happy except Mr Pineapple.

The block is skinnier and the SE ridge is a bit delayed, but it's coming.
