Usually too late in the season to get lowland snow (and even if we do, it's only fleeting). I prefer my snowstorms in December or January, at the start of a multi-day stretch of freezing weather.
It's called clown range for a reason.

So this weekend we currently have forecast 850mb temps at -7C and thicknesses down to around 520 and still no solid snow in the forecast? Just cold rain?

Yes Snowed in Man. My explanation was sincere. And all I ever did was post a picture. I didn't intend on sparking a debate that I have little interest in.
No hard feelings If I inspired you to defend Greta.
I will spare all of you my thoughts on a topic that is usually coated with political overtones.
And that's a wrap on this topic in this thread. Put it where it belongs buttees!!

There is no climate emergency. It's all a political agenda for power and control. Look up Patrick Moore. He is a scientist and exposes the lies of climate alarmism.

Never thought I'd say this in mid December but a nice rainy night tonight. Snow level looks to have lowered to around 3500 feet today, as per the NWS, and looks like many flakes will fall and accumulate. Finally. Yessss. Plus snow levels heading in the right direction next several days. Trend is our friend buttees

You mean theweatherforums.com? Yes, I post there. Just heard about this forum recently over there in fact. Decided to join it because Whatcom County has more in common with the Lower Mainland weatherwise than it does with the rest of western Washington.

For every scientist that is a doubter there are probably 50 that are not. Having said that I’m not sure if we are actually at emergency levels.
