Been in Onterrible for the last 3 weeks visiting my SO's family. What a bust of a trip that was weather wise :lol:

No snow on the ground in Toronto basically the whole time we were there and the lakes up north weren't even frozen enough to walk on. Meanwhile I come back here to see ice forming in the Fraser and over a foot of snow at my place :cry: Looks like I missed my hibernation alarm

But they had a win early in the cold snap too! Lots of 8"+ readings out of that Boxing Day event for them!

Yeah, the other night driving home l had CHFI streaming on bluetooth and l hear forecas for TO plus 3 and drizzle let, out a laugh.

What are the chances of a period of freezing rain or ice pellets Thursday AM?

Not the worst long range outlook. Storm track remains North in the mid range. Inversion keeps some low level cold trapped. Tame quiet weather. EPS and GEFS showing that distinct signal we have come to know the past few years by late Jan/early Feb.
