Indeed looks like El Neets emoji. Currently -7c @ the pond in south Sardis, NE outflow has picked up, Cat: 2 Minor (Pant ripper) on the new Sardine wind scale, seen some blowing snow may have to upgrade later.

-11 tonight, huge icicles hanging from the gutters not a single sound of dripping water, white crystal snow sparkling under the lights. Stars out, so quiet and peaceful. Winter storm watch number 3 issued for us, not sure how I feel about this maybe happy maybe a bit worried about where all this snow is going to end up when the melt of 2022 begins......for now I will enjoy this because it sure beats warm rains and green grass...ask me again Sunday when im shovelling snow for the millionth time

I agree, but since 2008 we have had many encores. I think Sunday will deliver a potent punch.

So odd, growing up in the 90s, every single cold snap and snow event came and went, but 2008 was the start of bizzare weather full of surprises. I think snow events in general have been far more interesting in the 21st century.

Agree Mr. Vancouver but also very short in duration events.
