Some of EC's forecasts this am remind me of The Fonz from Happy Days: They just can't admit they were wrrrrrong. High of -6 in Kamloops?! That was garbage from yesterday rehashed in their 5am forecast. I think they'll be lucky to climb above -10. Wouldn't be surprising if it falls through the day there. And -1 for Hope?! In this case, however, I don't mind that they're wrrrrrr-rrrr-rrong.

I'd be surprised if any SW coastal/SL areas get more than 5cm with Weds night storm. Temps are so marginal. One slight warm push and its all over for the coastal dwellers.
Snowtotals from last night anyone? I know Monty got 6-7cm already. Nice score. Looks like most the action is done for now until that next wave W of Victoria drops anything..looks like it is ramping up too

I wouldn’t be so sure… maybe only 5 cm on the immediate coast, but still think 15–25 cm is a good guess for most of the metro area based on last night’s studying the models. It’s not going to be a big arctic blast, but it should be cooler with lower dew points Wednesday; a push of cooler air from the east has been very consistent in the models. Models have also been consistent on there being ample moisture.

And Mark Madryga agrees with the 15–25 cm assessment:
