Ha, the ground where the snow was cleared is already covered with nearly as much snow as several hours the other night produced. This is gonna be good! :clap:

They probably won't "certify" it safe until it's 12"+ thick. Which never happens. :lol:

Regardless, I've seen plenty of people on them before with much less cold and never heard of any problems. Same with trout lake and lost lagoon in the 70s, 80s and 90s. The photo evidence is there and the weather data shows temps were even warmer than what we're getting right now. I totally get the city want to be cautious though, especially in this day and age. :thumbup:

Im not sure it's ever to get be certified if not this week. Sometimes people just take chances, the signs are up and nobody can sue them if they get hurt. People need to live life and sometimes throw caution to the wind.

I read before that the CoV opens Trout Lake at 5". I don't know about Coquitlam.
