:alert: :flakey: Snowfall Alert! :flakey: :alert:

Good evening folks, are we ready for snow tonight?

Looks like a widespread snowfall will blanket the entire lower mainland tonight into tomorrow.
Between 10 - 20CM will fall. The far eastern valley will be on the lower end of the prediction, as well as the extreme west as the snow belt sets up to deliver between Burnaby and Langley with the higher snowfall rates. Outside of those cities the amounts will taper off. There is some signs this might overproduce, which is curious. Will be a winter wonderland with dry snow Thursday morning covering everything.

:alert: Possible intense blizzard setup for the weekend.

Really dynamic right now but we could see a major blizzard impact the south coast over the weekend. I'll say if the models are overdoing the warm-up or the arctic air hangs on we are looking at 40Cm or more over Sat-Mon and possibly beyond. Models are trending cooler so I have no idea at this point. But the possibility is higher than ever before, so be prepared!

On the plus side, though, any map with a 5 over YVR and a 2 over Chilliwack really isn't half bad.

It's catch-up time for Gumps!
It's called clown range for a reason.

I'm going to say 8-15 widespread cm with some localized winners and losers at say less than 5 and more than 20.

Lots of people playing hockey on Lost Lake in Mundy Park. Not too many on Mundy Lake, though it seems to be frozen pretty good. I walked all the way to near the middle and it was fine. I'll some pics in a few mins.

You have a reputation to uphold on Reddit, so here’s hoping for 25 cm ;)

That was the upper end! We shall see. Would not be a surprise if Westwood Plateau scores that much.
