Nothing bad about skiing under sunny skies. Just think , you'll be getting a double dose of vitamin D with the sunshine reflection off the snow.Bear Golden wrote: ↑Thu Feb 13, 2020 11:21 am Ugh...There goes my dream week of skiing next week....

Get out the sardine-flavored snow cone syrup.
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

That looks decently cold. Though the weeklies and pretty much all models have been over promising on the cold in the long range this winter. I did however see a tweet that the Euro weeklies have been incredibly accurate at 3 to 4 weeks out in Europe this winter. Something like a 75% skill score. Which is incredibly good

I think we can safely assume that this winter has started its vacation, or is at least in the process of packing. I started weeding the garden today and the smell of all the trees starting to break into bud is pretty strong. A few more weeks and my veg will be seeded in the greenhouse. Looking forward to a hot summer and maybe a colder winter next time!!

Stuffy, Houndhog and our mod team. also our members who contribute some of us may have our differences but we all have a common interest in weather let's all get along for the betterment of the forum.
I hope alot of members will continue to post at times even during the weather doldrums even whatever you've been up to in summer is fun to know.

Re: February 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
No cold or snow in the near future? Sounds like time to start gardening. Any predictions for the spring/summer?
