Doesn't look so bad. The EPS has it as a quick hitting weak ridge. That's good, get some sunny late summer days without extreme heat.

Yup one more heat event wouldn't surprise me. That said, I doubt we will see anymore 35-40C this summer. Maybe a couple more 32-33C days before we transition to fall. :thumbup:

The ridge offshore on the EPS is strong though. Hopefully it stays offshore for the most part, as modelled. :thumbup:

We typically see warm weather in September Jr. man, of course the nice thing is it cools down nicely come evening the temp. doesn't hang up there due to longer nights.

Quite the flip over there during the past couple weeks. SE BC was the most anomalously warm and dry region in the province during June and July.

Indeed Alberta get's it in September sometimes.

It looks good if you don't want more heat. Only a couple members break 20c on the GFS ensembles. Otherwise it looks to alternate between cool and seasonal in the short and mid range. Maybe turning warmer by month's end.
