Prolly just poor 1972 engineering fault. I'm sure if built today that tower would be bomb proof/earthquake proof/Terrorist proof, nm ZR proof

The magic numbers to look for are -40C in Prince George and -30C in Kamloops. I don't think either city has dropped that low since sometime in the 90s.

Prince George dropped to -40.3C as a low on December 29th 1996. I lived there at the time. Sadly, I missed out on the massive blizzard down here. It was just cold and dry up north.

Team realistic. Anything more than five days out is clown range in my book. So far, there's no evidence that this is going to be a good month for mountain snow. So I refuse to be either optimistic and say it's going to be a good month, or pessimistic and say it's going to continue to be sucky/dry/splitty/ridgy.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Prince George dropped below -40C on numerous occasions during the 90s.

December 29th, 1990: -40.5C
January 5th, 1991: -42.2C
January 6th, 1991: -44.7C
January 7th, 1991: -42.8C
January 8th, 1991: -46.1c
January 9th, 1991: -41.5c
December 29th, 1996: -40.3C
January 25th, 1997: -41.0C
January 26th, 1997: -41.4C

Has not dipped below -40C ever since Jan 1997.
