Why do you guys talk so much about Greta?
If you don't like her, her messaging, and/or are a climate change denier (which would be weird considering this is a weather forum, with for the most part , science-minded people) then you can just ignore her.. but it's pretty weird that she is brought up so often on here.

Not historic but it is significant. Thunder Bay forecast to drop to -26C tonight; daily record is -30C. Also forecast to dip to -32C in Timmins; record is -34C.

Daily records... To know the climate of the East, this will be a classic cold blast, nothing more.
And another very significant cold shot looks to hit the eastern prairies and great lakes next week. Again, not historic but it is close...anomalies are a whole lot colder than anything we've seen in the past decade at least.
