Remarkably heavy snow. I can actually see it fal without any street lights and my inside lights on low. Rare! Usually I have to rely on the SFU cams at night cuz I get no light out my window.

Ukmet was stronger with the outflow Wednesday night. 10-20cm in the lower mainland. 30-40cm SE van Island
North end of Shawnigan Lake. Southern Vancouver island. 500ft

If you observe the radar image you can tell which direction the bands are headed, current flow keeps these bands heading NWard thus missing the valley until this sinks a little the the SE.
