I had about half a cm Friday night and a carbon copy again last night. Current temp is 0.4C

These cells seem to lack the "juice" to get any decent accumulations.

We have barely had any precip the last 48 hours.

Better chance tonight as the trough finally moves eastward.

Everything was wet when I got up this morning, but no white stuff to be seen. So it was either slushy rain or wet glop that melted on contact.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Models have been busting bad on precip amounts. Otherwise we would have had some decent snow totals by now, particularly at higher levels.

Upper westwood plateau (>300m): Two day snowfall total of about 15cm with ~5cm falling on three separate occasions in the past couple days... Friday morning, Friday evening, and yesterday morning. :flakey:

Snowing lightly, at +3°, flakes get bigger at times,then disappear. EC hourly forecast shows chance of flurries/snow/thunderstorms for next 24 hrs.

The Hrrr is now showing a decent band of snow and accumulations in Central and eastern areas.

Close to 30cm in some locations near Campbell River. Close to 50cm near Granite Bay.
