AQI just crossed over into the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups range in Bellingham and still rising.
It's called clown range for a reason.

White Rock and Surrey are now also USG. Downtown Vancouver still holding on to the high end of Moderate. Birch Bay and Lummi Island have exceeded USG and are now flat-out Unhealthy.

Latest METAR in Abbotsford:

Visibility is very crummy out here, and seems to be getting worse going off the eye test, objects on the horizon keep disappearing.

Ironically the forest fires were caused by an unusually cold trough diving to the east of the Rockies. Massive pressure gradient led to strong E winds over Washington and Oregon.

The smoke in Oregon is insanely thick. The highest volcanic peaks are the only mountains visible in the Cascades and they are just dots.
Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!

I read some of these fires have been deliberately set by Trump supporters And or antifa fools? Is this true or fakenews?

The US forum is chock-full of righties speculating it was Antifa. There is about as much evidence for this as there is for a conspiracy to start fires by Trumpers. Which is to say, no hard evidence whatsoever. At least one guy was caught in the act of starting a fire, but there is no evidence it was politically motivated.

Edit: Would have been more accurate to say it was last night. Don’t see that sort of conspiracy-mongering there right now.
