I don't that's going to save us this time Jr. too many other factors suddenly collapsed on this one. :(

I'm getting extremely heavy rain and think I may have heard thunder. But no lightning detected on my station yet. :shock: :o :shock:

No work up there, not even a fishing fleet anymore lots of boarded up shops, been there back in 2015 when its sunny and 18c it's actually humid, and moss grows flat on a rolling stone.

If my faltering memory serves me correct didn't we have maybe a day of clear skies followed by a failed overrunning event that gave the Fraser valley freezing rain and a hole in my roof at our last place in Mission.

Interesting. I always look at the MJO and the location of the storm activity. CPC website has a secion on MJO and its very interesting and some good predictors too. It's a very good predictor of AR events too in our region especially when the MJO moves from the maritime continent (Indonesia, Philippines) and into the central Pacific
