Re: January 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Well my goofy weather app on my phone the weather channel. Is showing 0/4 on the 22nd then -1/3 with rain and snow for the 23rd and 24th. Why were stuck with this stock weather app l have no idea. I don't think you can change it. Although l get the Whatcom county weather alerts though.
The 7th annual snowfall contest is canceled due to no snow this winter.

Quick Gumps almost a full house collect now before everyone runs away. Never mind there's the boss to collect from you.

Re: January 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Ahhhhhhh. I thought about going up today but saw it was 1C and not snowing. Next time I go up will either be during a big snow storm or when it's colder than -5C, preferably both!
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

Yes ~0C snow or skiing makes for a sloppy day..easy to stay dry at -5C or below..like in the Similkameens!!

By the way, I'm still loving the weather station you sold me. Works awesome. Recently replaced the batteries with Energizer Ultimate Lithium.

Re: January 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Hmmm
Looks like many of the models have locked onto some potentially great winter weather in about 10 days or so. Confidence is high currently but as we know, many a disappointment can be had on the west coast. This however is heading into tremendously good agreement. You could be in for a few weeks of pretty cold weather and yes, SNOW! This week will get really exciting as we track the models. I have a good feeling this time round as do many other mets. Snow is finally coming!
