My high so far today is only 3.6
All this rain is depressing and getting people into bad moods. We need some sun to get people into a good mood again.

I have removed a couple of posts from members who forgot mother's rule. This is not the AF (not that I've ever been there) and I like it that way...Please remember we're Canadian...and if that's not enough remember what your mother told you...If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all.

If you don't like something someone posted and it's not directed at you, just scroll on by. If it's directed at you, please contact a mod and we will address it.

Thank you,
Roberts Creeker

Hey mods, no offence but do you read all the posts on here? Yes i assume. Then talk to the instigators so this community will be as you want it to be. Nice and happy and cheerful. I'm not going to complain because i have 2 members blocked on here, so i don't read their comments. But i hear it from a guest that i directed to this site...And he listens to the 2 of them as they still spew off periodically...always about me. Do your job and talk to them.  No need to have members message you when the posts are continuously popping up on here and you yourselves are reading them.
January 2025 incoming..looks like more Pineapples..Happy New Year!

4:02 PM PST Thursday 06 February 2020
Special weather statement in effect for:

Fraser Valley - west including Abbotsford
A fast-moving deepening low pressure system is approaching the South Coast of B.C. Strong winds will affect coastal B.C. from midday Friday until Saturday morning.

Western sections of Vancouver Island from Zeballos to Sooke are currently under a wind warning.

The low is forecast to approach northern Vancouver Island Friday afternoon and then track across Vancouver Island in the evening; however the exact track and strength of the low will affect the areas that will require wind warnings.

Ahead of the low, strong southeast winds up to 70 km/h can be expected over northern sections of east Vancouver Island and Sunshine Coast Friday afternoon. Strong southwest winds of 50 to 70 km/h will affect southern sections of Victoria near Juan de Fuca Strait, such as Esquimalt, downtown Victoria, the Southern Gulf Islands, southern sections of Metro Vancouver and western sections of Lower Fraser Valley late Friday afternoon.

Behind the track of the low, strong northwest winds up to 70 km/h are expected to sweep through the Strait of Georgia and may affect western sections of Metro Vancouver near the Strait of Georgia.

Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to BCstorm@canada.ca or tweet reports using #BCStorm.

I read most of the posts on here, December sometimes got away from me with all those posts per day, and what I see is some members teasing and needling each other, look at what gets thrown at Nito for example, and most people take it in stride or scroll past but when it moves to nasty then it crosses a line for me.

But if you don't like something someone posted and it's directed at you, please contact a mod with the post and we will address it.

No complaining Hawk. Stick and stones. Don’t play into internet tough guy routines.

On another note, I’m surprised I still have a bit of snow that hasn’t melted. I was hoping for spring rains.
