The moisture plume is starting to move north. Howe Sound and the Sea to sky could be in for flooding although Sea to sky gets it worse flooding-wise when heavy rains hit early in the season before the snowpack builds for some reason. There worst floods have been in October of 1984 and 2003 and Labor day weekend 1991. I think it's due to the glaciers being exposed to the warm heavy rain which causes them to really get saturated. I'm not sure. Lol. Just a theory.

The Weatheroffice is a bit off the forecasted warmth for the Kamloops area. No 15c there, not even the 12c that is currently predicted. Up on Sunpeaks it's still mostly freezing.

Also this was me dropping into Symphony bowl yesterday morning:

The shift in weather from the AM to the PM yesterday was INSANE. It was beautiful and untouched and by 2:30 it was a full on snowstorm and they closed the hill. If the freezing level stays where it's at this is going to be a crazy day up here...

And here it is..December 2024 all snow geeks have been waiting for :silent: ..with the LR weather "charts" calling for a cold and snowy month. Where's the troffing? :silent: :silent:
