The entire E Pacific is a bunch of Vort Maxes :clap: :clap:
That last one brought down the snowflakes to the city :thumbup:

The unstable atmosphere off our coast is outstanding! Tell em Catnip!! #surprises
January 2025 incoming..looks like more Pineapples..Happy New Year! :think:

Monty when do you see the outflow kicking in Tuesday? Wednesday? And will it be strong or just enough to pull in cold air

GFS brings a widespread 20-30 centimetres Thursday. Outstanding :shock:

Late Tuesday or Wednesday. Not overly cold or strong. East wind maybe gusting to 50 would be my guess

One or possibly 2 organized bands of precip swing through tonight. I bet some places near warning criteria of 5+ cm by morning

The negative surface temperature anomalies shown on the GFS would keep that snow around for a few days. Its crazy how much better this winter has been...this one event upcoming isn't even the best of the winter but it would be far better than anything we got last winter or most Januaries.

Ok more like 30 - 50 cm on the map but I just can't take it at face value after what's happened with the GFS all winter.
