Not sure how serious that response was but it's due to low (or recently near zero) solar activity.
It always snows in December in the Kootenays :clap:

Hmmm models now pulling back from the SSW event. Doesn't bode well for south sound and Oregon. Lower Mainland looks like the sweet spot again.
