Hoping we get the outflow there forecasting to clear the air out here in the valley.
The 7th annual snowfall contest is canceled due to no snow this winter.

Looks like we may go ~3+ weeks with no significant precip?

122mm was a fairly dry October for YVR, with last 9 days only 4mm. Now..6 more days with nothing and possibly nothing significant for another ~10 days
My math says 25 days with only 4mm? Again,
January 2025 incoming..looks like more Pineapples..Happy New Year!

Seeing a favorable Siberia-Aleutian pattern emerge in 1-2 weeks that supports upward wave flux into the stratosphere. This will likely result in a "Sudden Stratospheric Warming Event" during December. No telling whether this event is minor or major at these leads.

The Euro is not totally dry for the weekend and weaker with the ridge and the Canadian model is quite wet for Sunday and especially Monday night into Tuesday. Is it an outlier? The GFS may be overdoing the ridge. We will find out soon enough.
