Nice to see somebody else getting beat up, Leafs getting absolutely pounded on social media tonight after their loss to the last place team,Ducks.

The big announcement was a 10 year partnership deal with Rogers Sportsnet TV/Radio, 650AM is saved although l don't think sports talk will survive IMO. AM730 GPS radio has Lions/Whitecaps games which helps keeps them afloat.
Although TBH l do tune in during a back up on my travels.

Jersey's long rebuild finally paying off. Ottawa probably not far behind. Avalanche did their rebuild in less time and already won the cup. Rangers rebuild only took about 3 years and they're already cup contenders. It can definitely be done if done properly. Unfortunately Francesco Aquillini probably meddled so Linden quit and Benning obliged with a mediocre team. Benning was supposed to be a good draftsman, but that didn't really materialize. How has Boston managed to be competitive since 2011? I'd say better drafting than Vancouver, plus Benning traded away too many draft picks for failed experiments like Baertschi and Vey, etc,the list is a long one,very long.

Well said skipper Grumpy it is frustrating to the point of not caring anymore which is a shame since l've followed the Knucks since they entered the league or should l say l don't watch every game now.

If they kickstart the rebuild now by cashing out on premium assets like demko, Horvat, maybe even Hughes and Petey, it could be a lot quicker than most rebuilds. This is the best year to take since Mc Eichel.
