It would be quite the 30 day stretch of weather if this actually happens.

Kind of a macroscale snapshot of our typical winter pattern progression. Ridging, followed by rain leading to cold and snowy.

Lots of ensemble support for snow on the 12Z GEFS in the mid range. This is 24 hour snowfall, so it won't look as snowy as the total snow map, but I think it gives a better idea of individual "events."
