Their app is showing periods of snow right through midnight. Just installed it, so not sure how accurate it is.

This is a total non-event in Cloverdale. The roads are bare and it was probably about 75% rain.

Unlike our previous snowfalls..this ia heavy wet snow and slush that is compacting on the roadway. Its almost the consistency of ice. This is why roads are absolutely brutal.

At least the dry snow with low RH we had a few weeks ago provided more traction.
New Westminster was a complete parking lot. I was biking way faster than traffic. :) Royal Ave was not moving at all. Flashers were on.
Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!

After it took me an hour to drive 3km tonight, think I am done with this bullshit rain/snow mix.

The EC extended meteocode for 4pm has them estimating 15-17 cms for metro Van on Friday. The Fraser Valley one had 6-11 cms.

I picked up a slushy centimeter and a half. If I combine that with what fell this morning (before melting) I have just over 3 cm for the day.

Main roads are wet, side roads are slushy. No issues driving home from Langley.

Considering how overdone the snowfall was today in the models...don't bet on even half those amounts.

I think he meant Abby, South Delta, Richmond, Vancouver, etc. Well, Cloverdale can be added to the list. This definitely was NOT a snow event for many.

Anything under 2cm is basically a non event. Which means only New West was hit today.
