When in despair, grasp at straws. Right?

On that front, at least there are multiple members on the GEPS that show some meaningful precip mid-late October. Trend? Perhaps.

00Z EPS showed that too. This pattern will break and it will break in a meaningful way. I cannot wait for days upon days of stratiform rain.

Also something cool. WxBell now has soundings for the Euro, GFS and GEM. This will be useful when tracking marginal snow events this winter. Looking forward to putting these to use. Skew-t graphs are a little confusing to read, but very easy once you get the hang of it!

18z also bone dry.

Very little change on the GFS runs for today.

In fact, the last 3 days of GFS runs have been pretty much dry for all 384 hrs. Pretty remarkable.
