Moon.

Another beautiful Octgust day. High 23.9 in Sechelt, warm enough for me but I've seen temps on the Island just short of 30c. Tyler was talking about the number of days over 20c in October, this year is blowing the past records out of the water.

Currently 14.6. Watched for the ISS last night with my neighbours and saw a surprise shooting star!

Your lucky Ms. Darkskycreeks, too much light pollution in the central valley. When l'm out in Rosedale it's a tad better for star gazing still not perfect.
I was thinking perhaps a shooting Hawk, Flamingo? :shifty: :D if this is Octgust December should be Deoctober.

I am lucky, there is very little light pollution up here, I can see the Vancouver glow but other than that I'm in the dark. The stars when the air is clear are so bright and millions of them. There are also a surprising number of satellites cruising around up there. My neighbours wanted to see the starlink ones but they weren't passing over then.

Deoctober   or Dec-tober as in Deck the halls.

Yes Dec the grass with dandelions by then at this rate. the starlinks look like a line of lights. There should be an app for that to use perhaps on your cell.
I use the free app called Sky view free it shows current location of Hubble, ISS, all planets, sun, moon and constellations.

Welp Tdust, precip just gets absolutely watered down or looks like a distant mirage. Mind you temperatures look to moderate some what but still slightly above normal.
At this rate perhaps a pattern change by Halloween. 🎃 or Remberance day at this rate El Neato's pineapple season may not come to fruition. :shifty: :wtf: :D

I got to board that Concorde 8-) was working for Canada Customs at YVR and as it was the Air France Concorde one of the superintendents decided that all the bilingual officers should search the plane
it was a pretty sweet plane, basically all seats were first class. very narrow though

Yes this includes some :14clown: range, however I would be inclined to bet on the :14clown:'s this time around.

The latest Euro seasonal doesn't really paint a promising picture for winter.
