That's crazy. A small blip late next week, then another warm spell through next weekend (or longer). Interesting that some members actually show the second act being warmer.

That's a pretty flat line, hopefully not the chart for our winter.

Re: September 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Will be interesting to see if we pass 2012 for the dry/warm spell. Lasted until October 11th that year, if I remember correctly. Had a few fairly cold mornings (close to freezing) at that time too.

That will be interesting. Looks possible from what I've read/seen. What was that winter like?

Re: September 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Not a great one had abit of snow afew weeks before Christmas, year of the ice bombs on the Port Mann. January was dull no snow, February we had some fog that month bit of a fog fest.Roberts Creeker wrote: ↑Fri Sep 30, 2022 9:01 pm That will be interesting. Looks possible from what I've read/seen. Winter lacked any significant cold snaps.Roberts Creeker wrote: ↑Fri Sep 30, 2022 9:01 pm That will be interesting. Looks possible from what I've read/seen. What was that winter like?
Cold and wet December (rain almost everyday) with a few days of heavy wet snow leading up to Christmas. Cool and dry January (ridge overhead for most of the month). Fairly average February.
Would much rather see us follow the 1896 script instead of 2012.

Boring! 1896 that would be noteworthy! Was it a La Nina year?Typeing3 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 30, 2022 10:51 pm Winter lacked any significant cold snaps.

Re: September 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Any month without snow is dull I like fog, we don't get it much here so it's a novelty. It always reminds me of a sci-fi story about a couple who drive in the fog and when they roll their window down and the fog gets into their car it takes them to a different timeline. Not sure why that one has stuck with me all these years.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Fri Sep 30, 2022 9:07 pm Not a great one had abit of snow afew weeks before Christmas, year of the ice bombs on the Port Mann.
