A cauliflower mushroom, too! Those are always a nice surprise to find.

My favourite is the hedgehog (Hydnum repandum, in this part of the world, almost always the white variety H. repandum var. alba). Once I found a spot where someone had taken all the chanterelles but left the hedgehogs for me. We both collected our first choice.
It's called clown range for a reason.

It's looking like Eastern Canada is about to get hit by a hurricane this weekend.

Bogus White Rock readings confirmed  , drove down to the property and hung around for a few minutes, looked at my car thermometer before and after and didn't budge from 24°. Then drove back home and still 24°. The car thermometer has been fairly accurate over the years.
So Sheriff Goose and Glacier you can toss those white rock temperature readings out the window.

Plus 27°C just doesn’t make sense for a coastal location. Not right now, when my area of East Van (quite well inland) is only 23°C.

Perhaps a little duct tape wd40 and vitog may correct the reading.

No big deal when I only have to travel 1.8k , and I was definitely curious . So it says that Wrinkle Rock hit a high of 28°
If Kristy Gordon reports that White Rock was the hot spot at 28° I'm gonna toss my dentures at the T.V.

9.2/25.1ËšC for the day here. Really low dew points of around 2ËšC this afternoon. I really like this sort of fall weather; you get a good variety temperature-wise, a chilly start followed by a warm afternoon. Just wish there had been a good rainy spell or two by this point

Very comfortable considering how warm it was. YXX hit 27.5C with the dew point at the freezing mark.

The outflow was ripping this morning/afternoon. Much stronger than I was expecting.

Reached 28.1C here. Currently 16.2C which is my low... dropping fast now that the wind has died down.

Walmart is pretty much in Christmas mode and I am excited. Tomorrow is the last day of astronomical Summer which is sad but we’re heading towards winter and gaining daylight!

 Not to worry skipper you'll get lots of denture tossing during Knuckle games this season.
It's currently 16c @ the pond in south Sardis and clear.the outflow is nonexistent now in the central valley.
