Total July+August:

1. 2017 7.6 mm
2. 2022 12.2 mm
3. 1985 13.1 mm

However, some nearby areas were much wetter at the beginning of July. I recorded over 16 mm and I believe Chilliwack saw 30+ mm. My total for July+August was 23.6 mm, roughly double the official total.

Along with the provincial record set in Lytton, monthly records in Castlegar, Kamloops, Ashcroft, Warfield, etc. As expected. 8-)

For the south coast, the great September 1988 heatwave still reigns supreme by far. 2017 did come close, or surpass it in a few locations though.

Across the southern interior, this past August seems similar to August 1898 (also noted for its warmth across the inland PNW), or perhaps a touch cooler.
