Nice to see the arctic air build up north in BC and Yukon rather than over Alberta and Saskatchewan giving Oregon the brunt of the arctic air as has been the case over the past couple winters.

There was an obscene amount of snow with that here. Considering how early it was. The daily snowfall of 48cm on the 12th remains the snowiest November day in history here. 1911 was also the first November that Shawnigan Lake recorded data


Remembrance Day 1955 is a pretty good high water mark for early season cold waves. If we want to get all carried away with imagining what used to be.
