Hopefully you get some TS activity Tstorms that will cap off your vaca looks kinda smoky or hazy? Never been up there but heard the Peace is a dust show in the summer.
Yeah very dusty but it rained a bit last night so shouldn't be too much of an issue today. The southern prairies are definitely worse in that regard during the summer -- hotter temps and drier.
There was a very slight smokey smell yesterday meaning it was likely a mix of smoke and haze. It's cool and cloudy this morning though so it's all gone now.
Will be heading out soon towards PG to see some family for a quick visit. Will be increasingly sunnier and warmer further south as I don't think it rained south of Pine Pass (Rockies) last night.

Where is Feetz of snow and WeatherPro?
Feetz of Snow is in hiding trying to keep cool.
Weatherpro is spending the summer upgrading his supercomputers so he can continue to provide us with his exceptional weather forecasts. WFS 2.0 coming winter 2022/23.

Looking (and feeling) cooler today. Only 23.9 at 9am as compared to 25.0 yesterday.
Almost finished digging the garlic, this row was the first to be planted and last to harvest and some is overmature, the heads are splitting but that's ok, I'll just use it as seed garlic.

I am testing the WFS 2.0 beta model right now.
Snowstorm Alert for August 5th 2022.
The Lower Mainlands first brush with snow expected next week. The temperature outside is 34C today but will be 1C this time next week with possibly 10-20cm of snow on the ground. An unusual system dropping from Alaska will bring arctic air into the region Thursday night into Friday. Rain will change to snow by the evening with temps dropping from +21C to 2C. Widespread amounts of 10cm but higher amounts are expected towards the North Shore and higher hills of Metro Vancouver.

It will be interesting to compare the WFS 2.0 and the NFS this winter.
