Over at Secret Sandy Beach I found Gilligan's long lost Lifeguard & Lookout Tower

Ok, don't tell anybody, it's Williams Beach, just as good and 99% less crowded than Saratoga Beach

Tried a panoramic photo,Sandy beach to the right of you zoom in

Apparently this beach and Saratoga has unique black grains of sand

Great photos! Say hi to Gilligan   Have fun on your vacation! Weather is going to be good at least. Interesting about the black sand. I remember a beach in Osoyoos that had black sand, most of it was black if I remember rightly.

Yup, you're are in the tropics. Sechelt got up to 19.2c today, was about a degree warmer here. Fingers crossed we keep up this cool trend.

I'll be happy to send you all the extra degrees over 23c.

The chickens, turkeys, horse and cat all do ok at higher temperatures but the sheep and dog suffer.

You would think humans would be alarmed about the global heat events but the loudest voices in the room are suggesting it's all fake news.
Are you talking about Donald Trump?

Arrived at our cabin on Loon Lake yesterday and there was a thermometer mounted in the shade on our deck. :D

Here is the current temperature here on the thermometer:

And here is a photo from our canoe trip yesterday. You can see all the trees that burned a few years ago in the forest fires.

We are having lots of fun on our holiday. Leaving to come home tomorrow, just in time for the upcoming heat wave.

Nice pics!

Looks like a lot of charred/dead trees there from the big fire in the area in 2017.
