GooFerS saw 3 flashes towards Mission and heard several distance rumbles of thunder mostly towards the north.
Instability seems to be winding down a nice treat now it's time for a blizzard DQ style.
Glad to hear Ty my man was able to abandon his hammock. and Grumps figured out it wasn't stomach instability after all.

At 9:13 p.m. PDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts and up to nickel size hail.

Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.

Absolutely stunning evening shot Ms. Clumpycreeks, actually l had a bowl of wisps and clumps for breakfast. Heard afew rumbles after thought it was thunder. It's 21c @ the pond in south Sardis with afew clouds.

Lytton RCS hit 38.5 yesterday.... Hard to believe that on this week last year it was over 10 degrees hotter than that sheesh!!

Another interesting stat - Lytton hit OVER 40 degrees on 7 different days over 3 consecutive months in 2021. 4 days in June, 1 in July and 2 in August. That's gotta be a record too, or?

To be fair North Chilliwack and chehalis/ Harrison area did have quite a spectacular show last night. Lightning flashed at least once a minute for around an hour or more. Had a great view of it off our deck!
