Humidity here compared to back east, Montreal ,Toronto, etc is like night and day. I have felt high humidity at 30° in Montreal and it felt like a sauna . I have never felt anything near that here in BC.
That's what I'm saying...no humidity today so 31 is feeling fine unless ur Bono. Yes we have had some humid days here..we don't always have 30c and dry. Like last year at 44c. How did you all like that 3 day stretch?
Tell em Bono..how was it? You survived!!
And here it is..December 2024 all snow geeks have been waiting for :silent: ..with the LR weather "charts" calling for a cold and snowy month. Where's the troffing? :silent: :silent:

Perfect Tsummer 32c for the day at the pond in south Sardis actually uniform temps between eastern metro Vancouver and the central valley.

Totally agree.

Humidity here is nothing like back east (southern Ontario and southern Quebec). It barely ever registers, and even during our worst stretches never rivals what it's like there on a regular basis.

I dislike the summer weather there because it feels like stepping into a steam room the instant you step outside with temps of 28-35c common but 40c-45c with the humidity. Can't sweat properly, hands get all clammy and it has that distinct subtropical smell. Gross.

I'll take a dry 45c day over a humid 30c day.

Humidity of any substance is non-existent, a non topic around here, for 365 days a year, maybe some elevated humidity for 1 day on leap year.

People who complain about the "humid" summers here obviously have never been to any other parts of Canada (outside of the north, Newfoundland and interior BC valleys), where it's much more of an issue. Relatively speaking in that regard our summers are a cakewalk.

The heat/humidity combo in that region during the dog days of summer is definitely comparable to Singapore.

Yeah, I have to laugh and roll my eyes whenever I hear someone say "it feels humid"...ah poor baby  . I think it's the same people that say they feel cold, chilled to the bones at +8° because the dampness goes right through them,, -8 in Alberta feels warmer

Early morning shot of the moon and Venus anyone have a chance to see the 5 planets lined up? I haven't suppose to be visible before sunrise. It's an amazing 17c and clear skies at the pond in south Sardis.
