Both leaned towards the cooler/wetter side. Complete lack of extreme heat was perhaps the most notable aspect of both summers.

I'm going to try melons again in my greenhouse along with yams. Some of the store bought ones I had in the cupboard sprouted and so I have starts for them.

I have lettuce and spinach in my greenhouse now, figure I'll pull it when, or maybe it should be, IF it gets hot and replace with melons and yams. The lettuce is doing ok the spinach is not too happy and hasn't grown at all since I put it out there a couple of weeks ago.
