It's pretty hilarious how seemingly difficult it can be to get snow around here in December when conditions seem JUST right and then we end up with 1 degree and rain. Yet here we are in April talking about snow and confidence is pretty good that it's actually going to happen for some of us.

Thanks Mr. Sardis. I think (I HOPE) I am finally getting back to myself again. I had kidney surgery beginning of February and 11 days after I caught Covid. Was a rough go. And then as soon as I recovered from that, I had to go out of town because my grandpa was on his deathbed and eventually passed away after 10 days. Then there was the aftermath of that to contend with...
Whew. What a ride life has been lately! I don't want to jinx it by saying this out loud but I will anyway...things seem to be finally calming down for me. Now I just need warm sun and a drink in my hand, sitting in my backyard watching butterflies fly by and I'll be happy.

Wow that's quite a time for you, glad things are positive for you.
Hopefully no heat domes this summer or the return of Sumas lake in November.
However another December 2021 would work.
All the best keep posting when your up to it the weather may get quiet but life never does.

Had some heavy rain with hail mixed in. Snow level is 300-400m in these heavy showers...don't see measurable snow below that today.

Vancouver Island looks to be in a good spot today to see lower snow levels with heavier showers.

Soooo close. Sleet almost with snow mixed in. Might have had a minute of snow now back to big cold sleet drops. Now a few lakes, nothing sticking though.

That is cool! First time I've seen that. I like all their new graphics. I have the can't-make-up-it's-mind aka we-don't-really-know, a little of everything.

Slush mixed in in a while ago in Pitt Meadows of all places. Looks like Golden Ears tho was just getting hammmmmmered. Should look spectacular if it clears up later with snow way down low
Mid April slush festival. We need some HEAVY precip rates in the hills to see some accumulations. Catnip Hill might get lucky.
