-1.5C here this morning. Coldest temp I can remember this early in October.

New record at YXX... I can't even remember the last time we set a record low. Seems like years ago.

Had a low of 4.7° on both days :lol: , even my mercury thermometer only got down to around 3. And yet the white rock station hit -1. Not that happy with my fairly new digital thermometer. Should I go to the end of white rock pier and chuck it into the ocean ?

-5.1C here this morning. -3.8C at Vernon weather station, which is the coldest Oct day since 2009.

Coldest places in Canada were in southwestern Alberta and southeastern BC.

-19.7 °C (-3.5 °F) at Crowsnest, AB

-17.2 °C (1.0 °F) at Yoho National Park, BC (station near Field)
