Couldn't figure out if it was foggy or smoky out this morning. Turns out it was neither, the cedar trees are busy.

Yes the cedar pollen is crazy right now. Thought the neighbor was burning as it looked smoky at times the past few days.

I’m watching March 10-13th for our last shot at real snow for the season. Some hints in the models of that arctic airmass clipping the south coast with the offshore ridge being undercut quickly after that. We’ll see, it’s a ways off still

So glad that I’m basically not allergic to tree pollen… this ecosystem is not a good place to be for those who are.

Last week was brutal for my allergies. Not too bad this week. There doesn't seem to be much cedar in Abby.

Call me weird but I really dislike the cedar trees in the western lowlands.

So far as pollen goes, this time of the year, it's usually the alders that are giving allergy sufferers the woes.

Those who suffer have my sympathies. I have really bad allergies to some species of grasses and broadleaved weeds, to the point that some ecosystems are basically unlivable to me. Trees I hardly notice. I have gone camping in the woods in the spring when everything is literally dusted yellow with pollen and been just fine.

~3km north of Missezula Mtn in the Similkameens @1530m. Snow depth varied greatly but ~3 to 4 feet. Not a great year..but it's been pretty dry last 2 months
