I'd say close enough, but if not, then I'm not sure what interior town would be next? 150 Mile House?

In that respect
This is interesting Glace as far as stop lights or lack of after you leave the lowermainland.
If you go the canyon where's the next light on highway 1? Cache Creek right where the DQ is? Clinton or 100 mile after that?

Yeah, it's a caution light l guess for vehicles coming up from the town onto hiway 1.
Yah there's probably afew in between but l'm thinking Cache Creek is the next actual stop light.
Is there one in Clinton as you drive into town and turn right l think the cop shop is just on the left.

They should put one up in Spuzzum just so people driving by know they have reached the town.

Good idea like a tourist attraction or a plaque here lies the once town of Spuzzum.

Yes, at the intersection of highway 1 and 97. If you take 97 north, then 100 Mile is next (no lights in Clinton).

Then Williams Lake.

Then Quesnel.

Then Prince George.

Then Chetwynd.

Then Dawson Creek

Then Taylor

Then Fort St. John

Then Fort Nelson

Then Whitehorse

Then Fairbanks

Then Wasilla

Then Anchorage

Never made it there. I turned south at Fairbanks and made it to Anchorage... btw, the roads in Alaska are SO much better designed than BC, both for cars and bicycles! The highway through Fairbanks is being widened to freeway status with a separated grass median such that there's only a couple of lights left. 100,000 people live there, so it's similar to Kamloops or Kelowna or PG. Well, I know Kelowna is closer to 200,000 now, but still, when it was 100,000 the traffic was an absolute joke. I just drove down the Penticton 2 days ago, and it took me more than 30 minutes to drive 15 km. Doesn't the BC government realize how much C02 I'm spitting into the air idling for 30 extra minutes a day... and multiply that by 10,000 just for Kelowna?
