It's been a whiplash inducing winter as they predicted. Once again we will likely come in above average despite some real negative anomalies in early winter.

Re: February 2022 Forecasts And Discussions
Recap so far:
November: record-setting rains and floods
December: cool and wet with some slush festivals to start. Cold and some snow heading into January. Nothing significant unless you lived in Hope Squamish Nanaimo or Campbell River.
January: an extension of December's cold to start followed by another relatively mild month.
February: Even our recent years February snows look like they have come to an end which looks like just another sad winter here.
To sum it up..about 10 days of real winter weather here so far. West Coast Victory?
Funny..I remember seeing all those long term maps showing the West to be cold all winter

Wowzers , walked to white rock beach today and everyone's brothers, sisters, aunts, and uncles were all there. Feb 6 and I couldn't believe how busy it was, probably on par with the busiest summertime day. Cars on marine Dr were bumper to bumper. I guess that's what happens when people are starved for sunshine, especially on a weekend. Some people stayed in their vehicles with their feet up on the dashboard, some toked up, and an old man talking to himself and blasting some Led Zeppelin..no it wasn't me..maybe sardineman.

So you managed to snag a few centimetres the other day, were they real centimeters or eyeball centimeters ? If your lead stands I'll be asking the IOC for a recountSouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Fri Feb 04, 2022 8:58 pm Did you update your snowfall totals brother Gumplers.

I believe that's within the rules, but were you wearing a mask? If not you'll be stripped of the gold medal.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Sun Feb 06, 2022 10:32 pm l managed to actually measure without the use of any inaccurate eyeballs, however does forgetting your pants but measuring with my Knuckle winning boxers on count.
I can't believe the Olympic hockey players have to wear a mask under their cage,no wait, I do believe it.
Any other sports there where they have to wear masks?

Does holding my breath and turning blue count Gumplers. I notice several members have either fallen off the winter wagon or forgot their passwords. it's currently 2c @ the pond in south Sardis under mostly clear skies perhaps frost in the central valley by morning.

I'm all excited to get seeds started and move on to spring but I have a feeling that we have a few more cold days left between us and real spring.
